1 Then the LORD said to Moses, The LORD said to Moses, And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, The LORD said to Moses,
2 “Tell the Israelites to bring Me an offering. You are to receive My offering from every man whose heart compels him. “Speak to the people of Israel, that they take for me a contribution. From every man whose heart moves him you shall receive the contribution for me. Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. “Tell the sons of Israel to take a contribution for Me; from everyone whose heart moves him you shall take My contribution. “Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from everyone whose heart prompts them to give.
3 This is the offering you are to accept from them: gold, silver, and bronze; And this is the contribution that you shall receive from them: gold, silver, and bronze, And this <i>is</i> the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass, This is the contribution which you are to take from them: gold, silver, and bronze, These are the offerings you are to receive from them: gold, silver and bronze;
4 blue, purple, and scarlet yarn; fine linen and goat hair; blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, goats’ hair, And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' <i>hair</i>, violet, purple, and scarlet <i>material,</i> fine linen, goat <i>hair,</i> blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair;
5 ram skins dyed red and fine leather; acacia wood; tanned rams’ skins, goatskins, acacia wood, And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood, rams’ skins dyed red, fine leather, acacia wood, ram skins dyed red and another type of durable leather; acacia wood;

9 You must make the tabernacle and design all its furnishings according to the pattern I show you. According to all that I shew thee, <i>after</i> the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make <i>it</i>. According to all that I am going to show you <i>as</i> the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, so you shall construct <i>it.</i> Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you.
10 And they are to construct an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. “They shall make an ark of acacia wood. Two cubits and a half shall be its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. And they shall make an ark <i>of</i> shittim wood: two cubits and a half <i>shall be</i> the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. “Now they shall construct an ark of acacia wood two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide, and one and a half cubits high. “Have them make an ark of acacia wood—two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.
11 Overlay it with pure gold both inside and out, and make a gold molding around it. You shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and outside shall you overlay it, and you shall make on it a molding of gold around it. And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about. 18 Make two cherubim of hammered gold at the ends of the mercy seat, And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work shall you make them, on the two ends of the mercy seat. And thou shalt make two cherubims <i>of</i> gold, <i>of</i> beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. You shall make two cherubim of gold; make them of hammered work at the two ends of the atoning cover. And make two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover.

And the cherubims shall stretch forth <i>their</i> wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces <i>shall look</i> one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be. And the cherubim shall have <i>their</i> wings spread upward, covering the atoning cover with their wings and facing one another; the faces of the cherubim are to be <i>turned</i> toward the atoning cover. The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover.
21 Set the mercy seat atop the ark, and put the Testimony that I will give you into the ark. And you shall put the mercy seat on the top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you. And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. Then you shall put the atoning cover on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony which I will give to you. Place the cover on top of the ark and put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law that I will give you.
22 And I will meet with you there above the mercy seat, between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the Testimony; I will speak with you about all that I command you regarding the Israelites. There I will meet with you, and from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are on the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you about all that I will give you in commandment for the people of Israel. And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which <i>are</i> upon the ark of the testimony, of all <i>things</i> which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel. There I will meet with you; and from above the atoning cover, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak to you about every commandment that I will give you for the sons of Israel. There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the covenant law, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites.
23 You are also to make a table of acacia wood two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high. “You shall make a table of acacia wood. Two cubits shall be its length, a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. And you shall make for it a rim of a hand width around <i>it;</i> and you shall make a gold border for the rim around it. 26 Make four gold rings for the table and fasten them to the four corners at its four legs. And you shall make for it four rings of gold, and fasten the rings to the four corners at its four legs. And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that <i>are</i> on the four feet thereof. You shall also make four gold rings for it and put rings on the four corners which are on its four legs. Make four gold rings for the table and fasten them to the four corners, where the four legs are.
27 The rings are to be close to the rim, to serve as holders for the poles used to carry the table. Close to the frame the rings shall lie, as holders for the poles to carry the table. Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table. The rings shall be close to the rim, as holders for the poles to carry the table. 28 Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, so that the table may be carried with them. And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: <i>of</i> pure gold shalt thou make them. You shall also make its dishes, its pans, its jars, and its libation bowls with which to pour drink offerings; you shall make them of pure gold. And make its plates and dishes of pure gold, as well as its pitchers and bowls for the pouring out of offerings.
30 And place the Bread of the Presence on the table before Me at all times. And you shall set the bread of the Presence on the table before me regularly. And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway. And you shall set the bread of the Presence on the table before Me continually. Put the bread of the Presence on this table to be before me at all times.
31 Then you are to make a lampstand of pure, hammered gold. It shall be made of one piece, including its base and shaft, its cups, and its buds and petals. “You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand shall be made of hammered work: its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it. And thou shalt make a candlestick <i>of</i> pure gold: <i>of</i> beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. “Then you shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand, its base and its shaft, are to be made of hammered work; its cups, its bulbs, and its flowers shall be <i>of one piece</i> with it. “Make a lampstand of pure gold. Hammer out its base and shaft, and make its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them.
32 Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand— three on one side and three on the other. And there shall be six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side: Six branches shall go out from its sides; three branches of the lampstand from its one side and three branches of the lampstand from its other side. Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand—three on one side and three on the other.
33 There are to be three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the first branch, each with buds and petals, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches that extend from the lampstand. three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. Three bowls made like unto almonds, <i>with</i> a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, <i>with</i> a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick. Three cups <i>shall be</i> shaped like almond blossoms on the one branch, a bulb and a flower, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the other branch, a bulb and a flower—the same for six branches going out from the lampstand; Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand.
34 And on the lampstand there shall be four cups shaped like almond blossoms with buds and petals. And on the lampstand itself there shall be four cups made like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and flowers, And in the candlestick <i>shall be</i> four bowls made like unto almonds, <i>with</i> their knops and their flowers. and on the lampstand four cups shaped like almond blossoms, its bulbs and its flowers. And on the lampstand there are to be four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms.
35 For the six branches that extend from the lampstand, a bud must be under the first pair of branches, a bud under the second pair, and a bud under the third pair. and a calyx of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out from the lampstand. And <i>there shall be</i> a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick. A bulb shall be under the <i>first</i> pair of branches <i>coming</i> out of it, and a bulb under the <i>second</i> pair of branches <i>coming</i> out of it, and a bulb under the <i>third</i> pair of branches <i>coming</i> out of it, for the six branches coming out of the lampstand. One bud shall be under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair—six branches in all.
36 The buds and branches are to be all of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold. Their calyxes and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it a single piece of hammered work of pure gold. Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it <i>shall be</i> one beaten work <i>of</i> pure gold. Their bulbs and their branches shall be <i>of one piece</i> with it; all of it <i>shall be</i> one piece of hammered work of pure gold. The buds and branches shall all be of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold.
37 Make seven lamps and set them up on the lampstand so that they illuminate the area in front of it. You shall make seven lamps for it. And the lamps shall be set up so as to give light on the space in front of it. And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it. Then you shall make its lamps seven <i>in number;</i> and they shall mount its lamps so as to shed light on the space in front of it. “Then make its seven lamps and set them up on it so that they light the space in front of it.
38 The wick trimmers and their trays must be of pure gold. Its tongs and their trays shall be of pure gold. And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, <i>shall be of</i> pure gold. Its tongs and its trays <i>shall be</i> of pure gold. Its wick trimmers and trays are to be of pure gold.
39 The lampstand and all these utensils shall be made from a talent of pure gold. It shall be made, with all these utensils, out of a talent of pure gold. <i>Of</i> a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels. It shall be made from a talent of pure gold, with all these utensils. A talent of pure gold is to be used for the lampstand and all these accessories.
40 See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain. And see that you make them after the pattern for them, which is being shown you on the mountain. And look that thou make <i>them</i> after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount. See that you make <i>them</i> by the pattern for them, which was shown to you on the mountain. See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.
