| 2When you leave me today, you will meet two men near Rachel's tomb, at Zelzah on the border of Benjamin. They will say to you, 'The donkeys you set out to look for have been found. And now your father has stopped thinking about them and is worried about you. He is asking, "What shall I do about my son?"' | 2When you depart from me today, you will meet two men by Rachel’s tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah, and they will say to you, ‘The donkeys that you went to seek are found, and now your father has ceased to care about the donkeys and is anxious about you, saying, “What shall I do about my son?”’ | 2"When you go from me today, then you will find two men close to Rachel's tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say to you, 'The donkeys which you went to look for have been found. One will be carrying three young goats, another three loaves of bread, and another a skin of wine. | 3Then you shall go on from there farther and come to the oak of Tabor. Samuel's Signs Fulfilled | 9As Saul turned to leave Samuel, God changed Saul's heart, and all these signs were fulfilled that day. | 9When he turned his back to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart. | 19But you have now rejected your God, who saves you out of all your disasters and calamities. And you have said, 'No, appoint a king over us.' | 22So they inquired further of the LORD, "Has the man come here yet?" And the LORD said, "Yes, he has hidden himself among the supplies." | 22So they inquired again of the LORD, “Is there a man still to come?” and the LORD said, “Behold, he has hidden himself among the baggage.” | 22Therefore they inquired further of the LORD, "Has the man come here yet?" | 23They ran and brought him out, and as he stood among the people he was a head taller than any of the others. | 23Then they ran and took him from there. | 25Samuel explained to the people the rights and duties of kingship. He wrote them down on a scroll and deposited it before the LORD. Then Samuel dismissed the people to go to their own homes. | 25Then Samuel told the people the rights and duties of the kingship, and he wrote them in a book and laid it up before the LORD. Then Samuel sent all the people away, each one to his home. | 25Then Samuel told the people the ordinances of the kingdom, and wrote them in the book and placed it before the LORD.
