Forty-Eight Cities for the Levites
(Numbers 35:1–8; 1 Chronicles 6:54–81)

1  וַֽיִּגְּשׁ֗וּ (And came near) רָאשֵׁי֙ (the heads) אֲב֣וֹת (of the fathers) הַלְוִיִּ֔ם (of the Levites) אֶל־ (to) אֶלְעָזָר֙ (Eleazar) הַכֹּהֵ֔ן (the priest), וְאֶל־ (and to) יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ (Joshua) בִּן־ (son) נ֑וּן (of Nun), וְאֶל־ (and to) רָאשֵׁ֛י (the heads) אֲב֥וֹת (of the fathers) הַמַּטּ֖וֹת (of the tribes) לִבְנֵ֥י (of the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (of Israel). 2  וַיְדַבְּר֨וּ (And they spoke) אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם (to them) בְּשִׁלֹ֗ה (at Shiloh) בְּאֶ֤רֶץ (in the land) כְּנַ֙עַן֙ (of Canaan), לֵאמֹ֔ר (saying), יְהוָה֙ (YHWH) צִוָּ֣ה (commanded) בְיַד־ (by the hand of) מֹשֶׁ֔ה (Moses) לָֽתֶת־ (to give) לָ֥נוּ (to us) עָרִ֖ים (cities) לָשָׁ֑בֶת (to dwell in) וּמִגְרְשֵׁיהֶ֖ן (and with their pasturelands) לִבְהֶמְתֵּֽנוּ׃ (for our livestock).

3  וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ (And gave) בְנֵי־ (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל (of Israel) לַלְוִיִּ֛ם (to the Levites) מִנַּחֲלָתָ֖ם (from their inheritance) אֶל־ (at) פִּ֣י (the mouth) יְהוָ֑ה (of YHWH), אֶת־ (-) הֶעָרִ֥ים (the cities) הָאֵ֖לֶּה (these), וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽן׃ (their pasturelands).

4  וַיֵּצֵ֥א (And came out) הַגּוֹרָ֖ל (the lot) לְמִשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת (for the clans) הַקְּהָתִ֑י (of the Kohathite), וַיְהִ֡י (and there were) לִבְנֵי֩ (for the sons) אַהֲרֹ֨ן (of Aaron) הַכֹּהֵ֜ן (the priest) מִן־ (of) הַלְוִיִּ֗ם (the Levites) מִמַּטֵּ֣ה (from the tribe) יְ֠הוּדָה (of Judah), וּמִמַּטֵּ֨ה (and from the tribe) הַשִּׁמְעֹנִ֜י (of the Simeonite), וּמִמַּטֵּ֤ה (and from the tribe) בִנְיָמִן֙ (of Benjamin), בַּגּוֹרָ֔ל (by lot) עָרִ֖ים (cities) שְׁלֹ֥שׁ (three) עֶשְׂרֵֽה׃ס (and ten);

5  וְלִבְנֵ֨י (and for the sons) קְהָ֜ת (of Kohath), הַנּוֹתָרִ֗ים (remaining) מִמִּשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת (out of the clans) מַטֵּֽה־ (of the tribe) אֶ֠פְרַיִם (of Ephraim), וּֽמִמַּטֵּה־ (and from the tribe) דָ֞ן (of Dan), וּמֵחֲצִ֨י (and from the) מַטֵּ֧ה (half-tribe) מְנַשֶּׁ֛ה (of Manasseh), בַּגּוֹרָ֖ל (by lot) עָרִ֥ים (cities) עָֽשֶׂר׃ס (ten);

6  וְלִבְנֵ֣י (and for the sons) גֵרְשׁ֗וֹן (of Gershon) מִמִּשְׁפְּח֣וֹת (from the clans) מַטֵּֽה־ (of the tribe) יִשָּׂשכָ֣ר (of Issachar), וּמִמַּטֵּֽה־ (and from the tribe) אָ֠שֵׁר (of Asher), וּמִמַּטֵּ֨ה (and from the tribe) נַפְתָּלִ֜י (of Naphtali), וּ֠מֵחֲצִי (and from the) מַטֵּ֨ה (half-tribe) מְנַשֶּׁ֤ה (of Manasseh), בַבָּשָׁן֙ (in Bashan) בַּגּוֹרָ֔ל (by lot) עָרִ֖ים (cities) שְׁלֹ֥שׁ (three) עֶשְׂרֵֽה׃ס (and ten);

7  לִבְנֵ֨י (for the sons) מְרָרִ֜י (of Merari) לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֗ם (by their clans) מִמַּטֵּ֨ה (from the tribe) רְאוּבֵ֤ן (of Reuben), וּמִמַּטֵּה־ (and from the tribe) גָד֙ (of Gad), וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה (and from the tribe) זְבוּלֻ֔ן (of Zebulun), עָרִ֖ים (cities) שְׁתֵּ֥ים (two) עֶשְׂרֵֽה׃ (and ten).

8  וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ (And gave) בְנֵֽי־ (the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ (of Israel) לַלְוִיִּ֔ם (to the Levites) אֶת־ (-) הֶעָרִ֥ים (the cities) הָאֵ֖לֶּה (these) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶ֑ן (their pasturelands), כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר (as) צִוָּ֧ה (had commanded) יְהוָ֛ה (YHWH) בְּיַד־ (by the hand) מֹשֶׁ֖ה (of Moses) בַּגּוֹרָֽל׃פ (by lot).

9  וַֽיִּתְּנ֗וּ (And they gave) מִמַּטֵּה֙ (from the tribe) בְּנֵ֣י (of the sons) יְהוּדָ֔ה (of Judah), וּמִמַּטֵּ֖ה (and from the tribe) בְּנֵ֣י (of the sons) שִׁמְע֑וֹן (of Simeon), אֵ֚ת (-) הֶֽעָרִ֣ים (the cities) הָאֵ֔לֶּה (these) אֲשֶׁר־ (that) יִקְרָ֥א (are called) אֶתְהֶ֖ן (-) בְּשֵֽׁם׃ (by name), 10  וַֽיְהִי֙ (and which were) לִבְנֵ֣י (for the sons) אַהֲרֹ֔ן (of Aaron), מִמִּשְׁפְּח֥וֹת (from the clans) הַקְּהָתִ֖י (of the Kohathite), מִבְּנֵ֣י (from the sons) לֵוִ֑י (of Levi); כִּ֥י (for) לָהֶ֛ם (theirs) הָיָ֥ה (was) הַגּוֹרָ֖ל (the lot) רִיאשֹׁנָֽה׃ (first).

11  וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ (And they gave) לָהֶ֜ם (to them) אֶת־ (-) קִרְיַת֩ (Kiriath-) אַרְבַּ֨ע (arba) אֲבִ֧י (the father) הָֽעֲנ֛וֹק (of Anak) הִ֥יא (that is) חֶבְר֖וֹן (Hebron) בְּהַ֣ר (in the hill country) יְהוּדָ֑ה (of Judah), וְאֶת־ (and with) מִגְרָשֶׁ֖הָ (its pasturelands) סְבִיבֹתֶֽיהָ׃ (surrounding it). 12  וְאֶת־ (And) שְׂדֵ֥ה (the fields) הָעִ֖יר (of the city) וְאֶת־ (and) חֲצֵרֶ֑יהָ (its villages) נָֽתְנ֛וּ (they gave) לְכָלֵ֥ב (to Caleb) בֶּן־ (son) יְפֻנֶּ֖ה (of Jephunneh) בַּאֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃ס (as his possession).

13  וְלִבְנֵ֣י׀ (And to the sons) אַהֲרֹ֣ן (of Aaron) הַכֹּהֵ֗ן (the priest) נָֽתְנוּ֙ (they gave) אֶת־ (-) עִיר֙ (a city) מִקְלַ֣ט (of refuge) הָרֹצֵ֔חַ (for the manslayer), אֶת־ (-) חֶבְר֖וֹן (Hebron), וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) לִבְנָ֖ה (Libnah) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 14  וְאֶת־ (and) יַתִּר֙ (Jattir) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) אֶשְׁתְּמֹ֖עַ (Eshtemoa) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 15  וְאֶת־ (and) חֹלֹן֙ (Holon) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) דְּבִ֖ר (Debir) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 16  וְאֶת־ (and) עַ֣יִן (Ain) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֗הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) יֻטָּה֙ (Juttah) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), אֶת־ (-) בֵּ֥ית (and Beth-) שֶׁ֖מֶשׁ (shemesh) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֣ים (cities) תֵּ֔שַׁע (nine) מֵאֵ֕ת (from) שְׁנֵ֥י (two) הַשְּׁבָטִ֖ים (the tribes) הָאֵֽלֶּה׃פ (these).

17  וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה (And from the tribe) בִנְיָמִ֔ן (of Benjamin), אֶת־ (-) גִּבְע֖וֹן (Gibeon) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands), אֶת־ (-) גֶּ֖בַע (Geba) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 18  אֶת־ (-) עֲנָתוֹת֙ (Anathoth) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) עַלְמ֖וֹן (Almon) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֖ים (cities) אַרְבַּֽע׃ (four).

19  כָּל־ (All) עָרֵ֥י (the cities) בְנֵֽי־ (of the sons) אַהֲרֹ֖ן (of Aaron), הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֑ים (the priests), שְׁלֹשׁ־ (were three) עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה (and ten) עָרִ֖ים (cities) וּמִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽן׃ס (and their pasturelands).

20  וּלְמִשְׁפְּח֤וֹת (And for the clans) בְּנֵֽי־ (of the sons) קְהָת֙ (of Kohath), הַלְוִיִּ֔ם (the Levites) הַנּוֹתָרִ֖ים (remaining) מִבְּנֵ֣י (of the sons) קְהָ֑ת (of Kohath), וַֽיְהִי֙ (and were even) עָרֵ֣י (the cities) גֽוֹרָלָ֔ם (of their lot):

מִמַּטֵּ֖ה (From the tribe) אֶפְרָֽיִם׃ (of Ephraim), 21  וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ (and they gave) לָהֶ֜ם (to them) אֶת־ (-) עִ֨יר (a city) מִקְלַ֧ט (of refuge for) הָרֹצֵ֛חַ (the manslayer) אֶת־ (-) שְׁכֶ֥ם (Shechem) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֖הָ (its pasturelands) בְּהַ֣ר (in the hill country) אֶפְרָ֑יִם (of Ephraim), וְאֶת־ (and) גֶּ֖זֶר (Gezer) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 22  וְאֶת־ (and) קִבְצַ֙יִם֙ (Kibzaim) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) בֵּ֥ית (Beth-) חוֹרֹ֖ן (horon) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֖ים (cities) אַרְבַּֽע׃ס (four).

23  וּמִמַּ֨טֵּה־ (And from the tribe) דָ֔ן (of Dan), אֶֽת־ (-) אֶלְתְּקֵ֖א (Eltekeh) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands), אֶֽת־ (-) גִּבְּת֖וֹן (Gibbethon) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 24  אֶת־ (-) אַיָּלוֹן֙ (Aijalon) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), אֶת־ (-) גַּת־ (Gath-) רִמּ֖וֹן (rimmon) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֖ים (cities) אַרְבַּֽע׃ס (four).

25  וּמִֽמַּחֲצִית֙ (And from the half-) מַטֵּ֣ה (tribe) מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה (of Manasseh), אֶת־ (-) תַּעְנַךְ֙ (Taanach) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) גַּת־ (Gath-) רִמּ֖וֹן (rimmon) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֖ים (cities) שְׁתָּֽיִם׃ (two).

26  כָּל־ (All) עָרִ֥ים (the cities) עֶ֖שֶׂר (were ten), וּמִגְרְשֵׁיהֶ֑ן (and their pasturelands) לְמִשְׁפְּח֥וֹת (were for the clans) בְּנֵֽי־ (of the sons) קְהָ֖ת (of Kohath) הַנּוֹתָרִֽים׃ס (remaining).

27  וְלִבְנֵ֣י (And to the sons) גֵרְשׁוֹן֮ (of Gershon), מִמִּשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת (of the clans) הַלְוִיִּם֒ (of the Levites):

מֵחֲצִ֞י (From the) מַטֵּ֣ה (half-tribe) מְנַשֶּׁ֗ה (of Manasseh) אֶת־ (-) עִיר֙ (a city) מִקְלַ֣ט (of refuge for) הָרֹצֵ֔חַ (the manslayer), אֶת־ (-) גָּלוֹן (Golan) בַּבָּשָׁן֙ (in Bashan) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶֽת־ (and) בְּעֶשְׁתְּרָ֖ה (Beeshterah) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֖ים (cities) שְׁתָּֽיִם׃ס (two).

28  וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה (And from the tribe) יִשָּׂשכָ֔ר (of Issachar), אֶת־ (-) קִשְׁי֖וֹן (Kishion) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands), אֶת־ (-) דָּֽבְרַ֖ת (Daberath) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 29  אֶת־ (-) יַרְמוּת֙ (Jarmuth) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), אֶת־ (-) עֵ֥ין (En-) גַּנִּ֖ים (gannim) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֖ים (cities) אַרְבַּֽע׃ס (four).

30  וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה (And from the tribe) אָשֵׁ֔ר (of Asher), אֶת־ (-) מִשְׁאָ֖ל (Mishal) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands), אֶת־ (-) עַבְדּ֖וֹן (Abdon) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 31  אֶת־ (-) חֶלְקָת֙ (Helkath) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) רְחֹ֖ב (Rehob) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֖ים (cities) אַרְבַּֽע׃ס (four).

32  וּמִמַּטֵּ֨ה (And from the tribe) נַפְתָּלִ֜י (of Naphtali), אֶת־ (-) עִ֣יר׀ (a city) מִקְלַ֣ט (of refuge for) הָֽרֹצֵ֗חַ (the manslayer), אֶת־ (-) קֶ֨דֶשׁ (Kedesh) בַּגָּלִ֤יל (in Galilee) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֙הָ֙ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) חַמֹּ֥ת (Hammoth-) דֹּאר֙ (dor) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) קַרְתָּ֖ן (Kartan) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֖ים (cities) שָׁלֹֽשׁ׃ (three).

33  כָּל־ (All) עָרֵ֥י (the cities) הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֖י (of the Gershonite) לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם (by their clans) שְׁלֹשׁ־ (were three) עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה (and ten) עִ֖יר (cities) וּמִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽן׃ס (and their pasturelands).

34  וּלְמִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת (And to the clans) בְּנֵֽי־ (of the sons) מְרָרִי֮ (of Merari), הַלְוִיִּ֣ם (the Levites) הַנּוֹתָרִים֒ (remaining):

מֵאֵת֙ (From) מַטֵּ֣ה (the tribe) זְבוּלֻ֔ן (of Zebulun), אֶֽת־ (-) יָקְנְעָ֖ם (Jokneam) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands), אֶת־ (-) קַרְתָּ֖ה (Kartah) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 35  אֶת־ (-) דִּמְנָה֙ (Dimnah) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), אֶֽת־ (-) נַהֲלָ֖ל (Nahalal) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֖ים (cities) אַרְבַּֽע׃ (four).

36  וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה (And from the tribe) רְאוּבֵ֔ן (of Reuben), אֶת־ (-) בֶּ֖צֶר (Bezer) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) יַ֖הְצָה (Jahaz) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 37  אֶת־ (-) קְדֵמוֹת֙ (Kedemoth) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶת־ (and) מֵיפָ֖עַת (Mephaath) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— עָרִ֖ים (cities) אַרְבַּֽע׃ס (four).

38  וּמִמַּטֵּה־ (And from the tribe) גָ֗ד (of Gad), אֶת־ (-) עִיר֙ (a city) מִקְלַ֣ט (of refuge for) הָרֹצֵ֔חַ (the manslayer), אֶת־ (-) רָמֹ֥ת (Ramoth) בַּגִּלְעָ֖ד (in Gilead) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands), וְאֶֽת־ (and) מַחֲנַ֖יִם (Mahanaim) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃ (its pasturelands), 39  אֶת־ (-) חֶשְׁבּוֹן֙ (Heshbon) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֔הָ (its pasturelands), אֶת־ (-) יַעְזֵ֖ר (Jazer) וְאֶת־ (and) מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ (its pasturelands)— כָּל־ (in all) עָרִ֖ים (cities) אַרְבַּֽע׃ (four).

40  כָּל־ (And all) הֶ֨עָרִ֜ים (the cities) לִבְנֵ֤י (for the sons) מְרָרִי֙ (of Merari) לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֔ם (by their clans), הַנּוֹתָרִ֖ים (the remaining) מִמִּשְׁפְּח֣וֹת (of the clans) הַלְוִיִּ֑ם (of the Levites), וַיְהִי֙ (and were) גּוֹרָלָ֔ם (by their lot) עָרִ֖ים (cities) שְׁתֵּ֥ים (two) עֶשְׂרֵֽה׃ (and ten).

41  כֹּ֚ל (All) עָרֵ֣י (the cities) הַלְוִיִּ֔ם (of the Levites) בְּת֖וֹךְ (in the midst) אֲחֻזַּ֣ת (of the possession) בְּנֵֽי־ (of the sons) יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל (of Israel) עָרִ֛ים (cities) אַרְבָּעִ֥ים (were forty) וּשְׁמֹנֶ֖ה (and eight), וּמִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽן׃ (and their pasturelands). 42  תִּֽהְיֶ֙ינָה֙ (Were) הֶעָרִ֣ים (the cities) הָאֵ֔לֶּה (these), עִ֣יר (city) עִ֔יר (and city) וּמִגְרָשֶׁ֖יהָ (and its pasturelands) סְבִיבֹתֶ֑יהָ (surrounding it). כֵּ֖ן (And were) לְכָל־ (all) הֶעָרִ֥ים (the cities) הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ס (these).

43  וַיִּתֵּ֤ן (And gave) יְהוָה֙ (YHWH) לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל (to Israel) אֶת־ (-) כָּל־ (all) הָאָ֔רֶץ (the land) אֲשֶׁ֥ר (of which) נִשְׁבַּ֖ע (He had sworn) לָתֵ֣ת (to give) לַאֲבוֹתָ֑ם (to their fathers), וַיִּרָשׁ֖וּהָ (and they possessed it) וַיֵּ֥שְׁבוּ (and dwelt) בָֽהּ׃ (in it).

44  וַיָּ֨נַח (And gave rest) יְהוָ֤ה (YHWH) לָהֶם֙ (to them) מִסָּבִ֔יב (all around), כְּכֹ֥ל (according to all) אֲשֶׁר־ (that) נִשְׁבַּ֖ע (He had sworn) לַאֲבוֹתָ֑ם (to their fathers), וְלֹא־ (and not) עָ֨מַד (stood) אִ֤ישׁ (a man) בִּפְנֵיהֶם֙ (against them) מִכָּל־ (of all) אֹ֣יְבֵיהֶ֔ם (their enemies) אֵ֚ת (-); כָּל־ (all) אֹ֣יְבֵיהֶ֔ם (their enemies) נָתַ֥ן (delivered) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) בְּיָדָֽם׃ (into their hands).

45  לֹֽא־ (Not) נָפַ֣ל (failed) דָּבָ֔ר (a word) מִכֹּל֙ (of any) הַדָּבָ֣ר (thing) הַטּ֔וֹב (good) אֲשֶׁר־ (that) דִּבֶּ֥ר (had spoken) יְהוָ֖ה (YHWH) אֶל־ (to) בֵּ֣ית (the house) יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל (of Israel); הַכֹּ֖ל (everything) בָּֽא׃פ (came to pass).
