| 1It was now two days before Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread. | 3Meanwhile, Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon, a man who had previously had leprosy. | 55Inside, the leading priests and the entire high council were trying to find evidence against Jesus, so they could put him to death.
