Praise Awaits God in Zion

1 לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ (For the one directing). מִזְמ֗וֹר (A Psalm) לְדָוִ֥ד (of David). שִֽׁיר׃ (A Song). לְךָ֤ (To You) דֻֽמִיָּ֬ה (is waiting) תְהִלָּ֓ה (praise), אֱלֹ֘הִ֥ים (O God), בְּצִיּ֑וֹן (in Zion), וּ֝לְךָ֗ (and to You) יְשֻׁלַּם־ (will be fulfilled) נֶֽדֶר׃ (the vow).

2 שֹׁמֵ֥עַ (O Hearer) תְּפִלָּ֑ה (of prayer), עָ֝דֶ֗יךָ (to You) כָּל־ (all) בָּשָׂ֥ר (flesh) יָבֹֽאוּ׃ (will come).

3 דִּבְרֵ֣י (Matters) עֲ֭וֺנֹת (of iniquities) גָּ֣בְרוּ (prevail) מֶ֑נִּי (against me); פְּ֝שָׁעֵ֗ינוּ (our transgressions), אַתָּ֥ה (You) תְכַפְּרֵֽם׃ (wipe them away).

4 אַשְׁרֵ֤י׀ (Blessed) תִּֽבְחַ֣ר (is the one You choose) וּתְקָרֵב֮ (and bring near), יִשְׁכֹּ֪ן (that he may dwell) חֲצֵ֫רֶ֥יךָ (in Your courts). נִ֭שְׂבְּעָה (We will be satisfied) בְּט֣וּב (with the goodness) בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ (of Your house), קְ֝דֹ֗שׁ (the holiness) הֵיכָלֶֽךָ׃ (of Your temple).

5 נ֤וֹרָא֨וֹת׀ (With fearsome things) בְּצֶ֣דֶק (in righteousness) תַּ֭עֲנֵנוּ (may You answer us), אֱלֹהֵ֣י (O God) יִשְׁעֵ֑נוּ (of our salvation), מִבְטָ֥ח (the confidence) כָּל־ (for all) קַצְוֵי־ (the ends) אֶ֝֗רֶץ (of the earth) וְיָ֣ם (and of the sea) רְחֹקִֽים׃ (farthest),

6 מֵכִ֣ין (the One establishing) הָרִ֣ים (the mountains) בְּכֹח֑וֹ (by His power), נֶ֝אְזָ֗ר (being girded) בִּגְבוּרָֽה׃ (with might),

7 מַשְׁבִּ֤יחַ׀ (stilling) שְׁא֣וֹן (the roaring) יַ֭מִּים (of the seas), שְׁא֥וֹן (the roar) גַּלֵּיהֶ֗ם (of their waves), וַהֲמ֥וֹן (and the uproar) לְאֻמִּֽים׃ (of the peoples).

8 וַיִּ֤ירְא֨וּ׀ (And they were afraid) יֹשְׁבֵ֣י (those dwelling) קְ֭צָוֺת (at the ends) מֵאוֹתֹתֶ֑יךָ (by Your signs); מ֤וֹצָֽאֵי־ (the goings forth) בֹ֖קֶר (of morning) וָעֶ֣רֶב (and evening) תַּרְנִֽין׃ (You cause to sing).

9 פָּקַ֥דְתָּ (You attend to) הָאָ֨רֶץ׀ (the earth) וַתְּשֹׁ֪קְקֶ֡הָ (and give it abundant); רַבַּ֬ת (greatly) תַּעְשְׁרֶ֗נָּה (You enrich it). פֶּ֣לֶג (The stream) אֱ֭לֹהִים (of God) מָ֣לֵא (is full of) מָ֑יִם (water); תָּכִ֥ין (You provide) דְּ֝גָנָ֗ם (their grain), כִּי־ (when) כֵ֥ן (thus) תְּכִינֶֽהָ׃ (You prepare it).

10 תְּלָמֶ֣יהָ (Its furrows) רַ֭וֵּה (soaking); נַחֵ֣ת (descending) גְּדוּדֶ֑יהָ (on its ridges); בִּרְבִיבִ֥ים (with showers) תְּ֝מֹגְגֶ֗נָּה (You soften it); צִמְחָ֥הּ (its springing up) תְּבָרֵֽךְ׃ (You bless).

11 עִ֭טַּרְתָּ (You crown) שְׁנַ֣ת (the year) טוֹבָתֶ֑ךָ (with Your goodness); וּ֝מַעְגָּלֶ֗יךָ (and Your tracks) יִרְעֲפ֥וּן (drip) דָּֽשֶׁן׃ (with fatness).

12 יִ֭רְעֲפוּ (They drip) נְא֣וֹת (on the pastures) מִדְבָּ֑ר (of the wilderness), וְ֝גִ֗יל (and with joy) גְּבָע֥וֹת (the hills) תַּחְגֹּֽרְנָה׃ (are surrounded).

13 לָבְשׁ֬וּ (Are clothed) כָרִ֨ים׀ (the meadows) הַצֹּ֗אן (with the flock), וַעֲמָקִ֥ים (and the valleys) יַֽעַטְפוּ־ (are feeble) בָ֑ר (with grain). יִ֝תְרוֹעֲע֗וּ (They shout for joy); אַף־ (and even), יָשִֽׁירוּ׃ (sing).
