Jeremiah 16
Berean Study Bible

Disaster Predicted

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

God continued to direct Jeremiah during Judah’s final years before the Babylonian invasion. The message that follows concerns Jeremiah’s personal life and serves as a sign of the coming judgment, when ordinary family life would be disrupted by death, exile, and national ruin.

Jer 18:5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Jer 24:4 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Jer 33:1 While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard…

“You must not marry

Marriage and children were normally signs of blessing, stability, and hope for the future in Judah. God’s command set Jeremiah apart as a living sign that no secure future remained for families facing the coming judgment.

1Co 7:26-28 Because of the present crisis, I think it is good…
1Co 7:7-8 I wish that all men were as I am; each man has his own…
1Co 7:32-35 I want you to be free from concern. The unmarried man…

or have sons or daughters

The children born in Judah would soon face war, famine, disease, and exile. Jeremiah was spared the grief of raising a family, a continuation of his lineage and name, into a generation marked for destruction because of persistent rebellion against the Lord.

Hos 9:11-14 Ephraim’s glory will fly away like a bird…
Luk 21:23-24 How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing…
Luk 23:28-29 But Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem,…

in this place.”

Judah and Jerusalem, once the land of promise, had become subject to Babylonian judgment through their idolatry and unfaithfulness. Jeremiah’s unmarried life reinforced the certainty and nearness of the disaster he proclaimed.

Deu 28:21-22 The LORD will make the plague cling to you…

They will not be mourned or buried,

War, famine, and pestilence will leave the land so devastated that normal burial and mourning practices cannot be carried out. To die without burial was a severe disgrace, showing the depth of the nation’s ruin.

The bodies left exposed to scavengers portray complete defeat and dishonor. Judah’s destruction will be public evidence that God has acted against a people who rejected His covenant.

Jer 7:33 The corpses of this people will become food for the birds…
Deu 28:26 Your corpses will be food for all the birds of the air…

Ezk 2:4 They are obstinate and stubborn children.…
Zec 1:3 So tell the people that this is what the LORD of Hosts says:…

“Do not enter a house where there is a funeral meal.

Funeral gatherings were customary occasions for families and neighbors to mourn together and receive comfort. Jeremiah’s absence would visibly portray the coming collapse of ordinary community life in Judah.

Ezk 24:17 Groan quietly; do not mourn for the dead.…
Ecc 7:2 It is better to enter a house of mourning…
Jhn 11:19-31 and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary…

Do not go to mourn or show sympathy,

He was not to participate in public expressions of grief or consolation. The people’s persistent rebellion had brought them to the point where judgment, rather than customary mourning, would define their future.

Jer 22:10 Do not weep for him who is dead; do not mourn his loss.…
Mat 8:22 But Jesus told him, “Follow Me, and let the dead…
Luk 9:60 But Jesus told him, “Let the dead bury their own dead.…

for I have removed from this people My peace, My loving devotion, and My compassion,” declares the LORD.

God would withdraw the peace (shalom, well-being, prosperity, and harmony), covenant care (chesed, steadfast love and covenant faithfulness), and mercy (rachamim, tender care) Judah had long presumed upon. Without His favor and protection, the nation would face the consequences of its sin in the disasters leading to exile.

Isa 54:10 Though the mountains may be removed and the hills…
Hos 1:6 Gomer again conceived and gave birth to a daughter,…
Isa 48:22 “There is no peace,” says the LORD, “for the wicked.”

“Both great and small will die in this land.

God’s judgment would reach every level of Judah’s society. During the Babylonian invasion, neither rank, wealth, nor influence would shield the people from the consequences of their rebellion.

Ezk 7:15 The sword is outside; plague and famine are within.…
Ecc 9:2 It is the same for all: There is a common fate…

They will not be buried or mourned,

The scale of death and disorder would prevent normal burial and mourning. Bodies left exposed would mark the shame, devastation, and collapse of life in Judah during the siege and conquest.

Jer 25:33 Those slain by the LORD on that day will be spread…
Jer 14:16 And the people to whom they prophesy will be thrown…
Psa 79:3 They have poured out their blood like water…

nor will anyone cut himself or shave his head for them.

Even customary expressions of grief would cease amid the overwhelming calamity. Judah’s destruction would leave no room for public mourning as families and communities were swept away.

Deu 14:1 You are sons of the LORD your God; do not cut yourselves…
Jer 41:5 eighty men who had shaved off their beards…
Mic 1:16 Shave yourselves bald and cut off your hair in mourning…

No food will be offered to comfort those who mourn the dead;

Mourning households in Israel commonly received food from relatives and neighbors, since grief and burial duties often left families unable to prepare meals. Under the coming judgment, even these ordinary acts of communal care would cease. Death would become so widespread and life so disrupted that customary mourning practices could not be observed.

Ezk 24:17 Groan quietly; do not mourn for the dead.…
Hos 9:4 They will not pour out wine offerings to the LORD…
Deu 26:14 I have not eaten any of the sacred portion…

not even a cup of consolation will be given

Mourners were also given a drink as an expression of sympathy and support. Its absence portrays a land stripped of comfort, where sorrow would be met with no relief from family, neighbors, or community.

Psa 69:20 Insults have broken my heart, and I am in despair.…
Psa 77:2 In the day of trouble I sought the Lord;…
Pro 31:6-7 Give strong drink to one who is perishing,…

for the loss of a father or mother.

The death of parents brought deep personal grief and could leave families without protection, guidance, inheritance, or social stability. By naming father and mother, the warning emphasizes that God’s judgment would reach into the closest bonds of family life.

Psa 27:10 Though my father and mother forsake me,…
Psa 35:14 I paced about as for my friend or brother;…
Lam 5:3 We have become fatherless orphans; our mothers are widows.

You must not enter a house where there is feasting

Jeremiah was forbidden to join public celebrations because Judah stood under God’s coming judgment. Ordinary expressions of joy would soon cease as invasion, death, and exile overtook the land. His withdrawal from feasting made his life a visible warning that the nation’s fellowship with God had been broken.

Ecc 7:2-4 It is better to enter a house of mourning…
Isa 22:12-14 On that day the Lord GOD of Hosts called for weeping…
Amo 6:4-7 You lie on beds inlaid with ivory, and lounge…

and sit down with them

Sharing a meal expressed friendship, peace, and participation in the life of the community. Jeremiah’s refusal showed that he could not join in normal celebration while proclaiming the destruction approaching Jerusalem and Judah.

Psa 26:4-5 I do not sit with deceitful men, nor keep company…
Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel…
Pro 13:20 He who walks with the wise will become wise,…

to eat and drink.

His abstinence portrayed the mourning and desolation that would replace the people’s festivities. God’s judgment would interrupt the social and family life they assumed would continue, leaving little cause for celebration.

1Co 5:11 But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone…
1Co 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons…
1Co 11:20-22 Now then, when you come together it is not the Lord’s Supper…

For this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says:

God speaks as the sovereign ruler over heaven’s armies and as the covenant God of Israel. His judgment comes from the One who has faithfully warned His people and holds them accountable for their rebellion.

Jer 44:2 This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says:…
Jer 29:8 For this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says:…
2Ki 19:15 And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD: “O LORD, God of Israel…

I am going to remove from this place,

Jerusalem and Judah would lose the peace and stability they had taken for granted. The coming Babylonian invasion would bring devastation, exile, and the collapse of ordinary life.

2Ch 7:20 then I will uproot Israel from the soil I have given them…
1Ki 9:7 then I will cut off Israel from the land…
Deu 28:63-64 Just as it pleased the LORD to make you prosper…

before your very eyes and in your days,

Jeremiah’s generation would witness the fulfillment of this warning. Judgment was approaching within their lifetime because the nation had persisted in idolatry and refused to heed God’s calls to repent.

Deu 28:31 Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes,…
Deu 28:34 You will be driven mad by the sights you see.
Ezk 12:25 I, the LORD, will speak whatever word I speak…

the sounds of joy and gladness,

Celebrations, feasts, and daily expressions of happiness would cease as the land became marked by grief, fear, and ruin.

Jer 25:10 Moreover, I will banish from them the sounds of joy…
Jol 1:16 Has not the food been cut off before our very eyes…
Isa 24:7-8 The new wine dries up, the vine withers.…

the voices of the bride and bridegroom.

Weddings, which represented family, hope, and the future of the community, would no longer be heard. Their silence portrayed the depth of Judah’s desolation under God’s judgment.

Jer 33:11 the sounds of joy and gladness,…
Jer 7:34 I will remove from the cities of Judah and the streets…
Rev 18:23 The light of a lamp will never shine in you again…

When you tell these people all these things,

Jeremiah was to announce the judgments God had decreed because Judah had persisted in covenant unfaithfulness. His ministry warned Jerusalem and the surrounding towns that Babylon’s invasion and the coming exile were not random political events but God’s response to long-standing rebellion.

Jer 26:2 This is what the LORD says: Stand in the courtyard…
Ezk 2:7 But speak My words to them, whether they listen…
Isa 58:1 Cry aloud, do not hold back! Raise your voice…

they will ask you, ‘Why has the LORD pronounced all this great disaster against us?

The people would respond with astonishment, though God had repeatedly sent warnings through His prophets. The disaster included war, siege, death, the destruction of Jerusalem, and removal from the land God had given their fathers.

Deu 29:24-25 So all the nations will ask, ‘Why has the LORD……
2Ki 22:16-17 this is what the LORD says: I am about to bring calamity…
2Ch 36:15-16 Again and again the LORD, the God of their fathers,…

What is our iniquity?

Their question exposed their refusal to reckon honestly with their conduct. Judah had embraced idols, participated in corrupt worship, shed innocent blood, and allowed injustice to flourish while assuming the Lord would protect them.

Job 13:23 How many are my iniquities and sins? Reveal to me…
Psa 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me…
Psa 19:12 Who can discern his own errors? Cleanse me…

What is the sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?’

Their sin was especially serious because it was committed against the God who had redeemed Israel and bound the nation to Himself by covenant. They had forsaken Him for foreign gods and rejected His commands, bringing upon themselves the judgment He had warned would follow disobedience.

Dan 9:5-6 we have sinned and done wrong. We have acted wickedly.…
Ezr 9:6-7 O my God, I am ashamed and embarrassed…
Neh 9:33 You are just in all that has befallen us…

Then you are to answer them: ‘It is because your fathers have forsaken Me, declares the LORD,

Judah’s ancestors had repeatedly turned from the God who delivered Israel and established them in the land. Their rebellion set a pattern that later generations continued rather than rejected.

Jdg 2:12 Thus they forsook the LORD, the God of their fathers,…
2Ch 7:22 And others will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the LORD,…
2Ki 21:22 He abandoned the LORD, the God of his fathers…

and followed other gods,

Israel had adopted the gods and religious practices of neighboring nations, violating the covenant’s demand for exclusive loyalty to the LORD.

Deu 8:19 If you ever forget the LORD your God and go after…
Jer 11:10 They have returned to the sins of their forefathers…
Deu 28:14 Do not turn aside to the right or to the left…

and served and worshiped them.

Their idolatry was not occasional compromise but active devotion. They gave honor, service, and allegiance to false gods in place of the true God.

Deu 11:16 But be careful that you are not enticed to turn aside…
Jer 13:10 These evil people, who refuse to listen to My words,…
Jos 23:16 If you transgress the covenant of the LORD,…

They abandoned Me

The nation had deliberately rejected the relationship and authority of the LORD, despite His faithfulness to them throughout their history.

Jer 2:13 For My people have committed two evils:……
2Ch 34:25 because they have forsaken Me and burned incense…
Isa 1:4 Alas, O sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity…

and did not keep My instruction.

Their refusal to obey God’s law revealed the depth of their departure from Him. Persistent disobedience brought the covenant judgments God had warned would follow rebellion.

Jer 9:13 And the LORD answered, “It is because they have forsaken…
Psa 78:10 They failed to keep God’s covenant and refused…
Neh 9:26 But they were disobedient and rebelled against You;…

And you have done more evil than your fathers.

Judah had continued and intensified the rebellion of earlier generations. Rather than learning from the judgment that had fallen on Israel and the warnings given through the prophets, the people persisted in idolatry, injustice, and covenant unfaithfulness. Their guilt was compounded by the spiritual heritage and repeated warnings they had received.

Jer 7:26 Yet they would not listen to Me or incline their ear,…
1Ki 14:22 And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD,…
1Ki 16:30 However, Ahab son of Omri did evil in the sight…

See how each of you follows the stubbornness of his evil heart

The nation’s rebellion was not merely inherited custom or public pressure; each person willingly followed sinful desires instead of submitting to the Lord. Their hardened resolve resembled the persistent refusal of earlier rebels in Israel’s history, showing that Judah’s corruption reached into personal conduct as well as national life.

Jer 18:12 But they will reply, ‘It is hopeless…
Jer 3:17 At that time they will call Jerusalem…
Jer 11:8 Yet they would not obey or incline their ears,…

instead of obeying Me.

Israel’s covenant with God required faithful obedience, but Judah treated His commands as optional. Their refusal was a rejection of the Lord Himself and brought the judgment He had long declared would follow persistent disobedience.

Jer 7:23 Obey Me, and I will be your God, and you will be My people.…
Exo 19:5 Now if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant,…
1Sa 15:22 But Samuel declared: “Does the LORD delight in…

So I will cast you out of this land

Judah would be removed from the Promised Land because of its persistent idolatry and rebellion against the Lord. Babylon’s conquest of Jerusalem and the deportation of many Judeans fulfilled this judgment. The land given to Israel under God’s covenant would no longer shelter a people who had rejected its God.

Deu 28:63 Just as it pleased the LORD to make you prosper…
2Ki 25:21 There at Riblah in the land of Hamath, the king…
Ezk 12:15 And they will know that I am the LORD, when I disperse them…

into a land that neither you nor your fathers have known.

The exiles would be taken to Babylon, far from their homes, worship, and inherited way of life. Their removal to an unfamiliar land emphasized the seriousness of their loss and reversed the pattern of Israel’s earlier entrance into the land God had provided.

Deu 28:36 The LORD will bring you and the king you appoint to a nation…
Jer 15:14 Then I will enslave you to your enemies…
Jer 17:4 And you yourself will relinquish the inheritance…

There you will serve other gods day and night,

Having chosen idolatry in Judah, the people would live among a nation devoted to false gods. Exile would place them under Babylonian rule and surround them with its customs and worship, exposing the bitter result of abandoning the Lord.

Deu 28:64 Then the LORD will scatter you among all the nations,…
Deu 4:28 And there you will serve man-made gods of wood and stone,…
Exo 23:33 They must not remain in your land, lest they cause you…

for I will show you no favor.’

God’s protection and blessing would be withdrawn during this time of judgment. Yet the exile was not the end of His purposes for Judah; it would expose their sin, preserve a remnant, and prepare the way for restoration.

Jer 21:7 ‘After that,’ declares the LORD, ‘I will hand over……
Ezk 7:4 I will not look on you with pity, nor will I spare you…
Deu 28:50 a ruthless nation with no respect for the old…

God Will Restore Israel

Yet behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD,

The LORD announces a future act of redemption with the certainty of His own authority. A decisive change in Israel’s history lies ahead.

Jer 31:27-28 “The days are coming,” declares the LORD…
Jer 30:3 For behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD…
Amo 9:13-15 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD,…

when they will no longer say,

Israel’s customary remembrance of God’s greatest past deliverance will be surpassed by a new and greater occasion for praise.

Jer 23:7-8 So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD,…
Jer 3:16 “In those days, when you multiply and increase in the land,”…
Hos 2:16-17 In that day,” declares the LORD, “you will call Me…

‘As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of Egypt.’

The Exodus had long stood as the defining proof of the LORD’s faithfulness to Israel, delivering the nation from slavery and establishing His covenant with them. Jeremiah foretells a later restoration so remarkable that Israel’s return from dispersion among the nations will become the foremost testimony to God’s saving power.

Exo 20:2 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out…
Deu 5:6 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out…
Psa 81:10 I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt.…

Instead they will say,

Israel’s future restoration will be so great that it will stand alongside—and in some sense surpass—the Exodus as a defining display of God’s power.

Jer 23:7-8 So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD,…
Isa 12:1-2 In that day you will say: “O LORD, I will praise You.…
Psa 126:2-3 Then our mouths were filled with laughter…

‘As surely as the LORD lives,

The oath rests on the reality of the living God, whose purposes for His people cannot fail.

1Sa 14:39 As surely as the LORD who saves Israel lives…
1Ki 17:1 Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was among the settlers…
2Ki 2:2 “Please stay here, for the LORD has sent me on to Bethel.”…

who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north

The land of the north points especially to Babylon, where Judah was taken after Jerusalem fell.

Jer 3:18 In those days the house of Judah will walk with…
Jer 31:8-9 Behold, I will bring them from the land of the north…
Zec 2:6-7 “Get up! Get up! Flee from the land of the north,”…

and all the other lands to which He had banished them.’

God would gather His scattered people from every nation where judgment had driven them.

Deu 30:3-4 He will restore you from captivity and have compassion…
Ezk 36:24 For I will take you from among the nations…
Ezk 11:16-17 Therefore declare that this is what the Lord GOD says:…

For I will return them to their land

Their return would be an actual restoration to the land of Israel, demonstrating both God’s mercy and His faithfulness after exile.

Jer 24:6 I will build them up and not tear them down…
Jer 29:14 I will be found by you, declares the LORD, …
Ezk 37:21-22 you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says:…

that I gave to their forefathers.

The promise rests on the land covenant given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, confirming that God had not abandoned His commitments to Israel.

Exo 6:8 And I will bring you into the land that I swore to give…
Gen 12:7 Then the LORD appeared to Abram and said,…
Gen 15:18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram…

But for now I will send for many fishermen, declares the LORD,

God announces that He will appoint agents to gather Judah for judgment. The image portrays a deliberate search under His sovereign command.

Mat 4:19 “Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make…
Luk 5:10 and so were his partners James and John, the sons of Zebedee…
Ezk 47:10 Fishermen will stand by the shore; from En-gedi to…

and they will catch them.

Those marked for exile will not escape; the coming judgment will reach the people throughout the land.

Hab 1:14-15 You have made men like the fish of the sea,…
Mat 13:47-48 Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net…

After that I will send for many hunters,

The picture intensifies from gathering to pursuit. God will send those who seek out fugitives and those attempting to avoid capture.

Jer 23:24 Can a man hide in secret places where I cannot see him?…
Amo 9:2-4 Though they dig down to Sheol, from there My hand will take them…

and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill,

Places of refuge, including the high places associated with Judah’s idolatry, will offer no protection.

Ezk 34:6 My flock went astray on all the mountains…
Jer 50:6 My people are lost sheep; their shepherds have led…

even from the clefts of the rocks.

No concealed place can hide the guilty from the Lord, whose judgment upon Judah will be complete.

Oba 1:3-4 The pride of your heart has deceived you,…
Exo 33:22 and when My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft…

For My eyes are on all their ways.

God had seen Judah’s persistent rebellion, including idolatry, injustice, and reliance on foreign powers rather than covenant faithfulness. No action, public or private, escaped His notice.

Pro 5:21 For a man’s ways are before the eyes of the LORD…
Job 34:21 For His eyes are on the ways of a man…
Pro 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place…

They are not hidden from My face,

Judah could not avoid God’s presence or conceal its conduct behind religious ceremonies. The Lord’s attention was personal and direct, even as the nation continued in disobedience.

Jer 23:24 Can a man hide in secret places where I cannot see him?…
Job 34:22 There is no darkness or deep shadow where…
Heb 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight;…

and their guilt is not concealed from My eyes.

Their sin carried real guilt and would bring judgment. God’s coming discipline was not arbitrary; it answered the openly known rebellion of a people who had repeatedly rejected His commands.

Psa 90:8 You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins…
Psa 44:21 would not God have discovered, since He knows…
Ecc 12:14 For God will bring every deed into judgment,…

And I will first repay them double their iniquity and their sin,

God would bring a full and fitting judgment upon Judah before restoring the nation. Their persistent rebellion against the covenant, expressed in idolatry, injustice, and rejection of His commands, had made exile unavoidable.

Rev 18:6 Give back to her as she has done to others;…
Isa 40:2 Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her…
Jer 17:18 Let my persecutors be put to shame, …

because they have defiled My land with the carcasses of their detestable idols,

The Promised Land belonged to God and had been entrusted to Israel as a holy inheritance. Idols and pagan worship polluted the land, revealing the emptiness of false gods and the depth of Judah’s apostasy.

Lev 26:30 I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense…
Ezk 6:4-5 Your altars will be demolished and your incense altars…
Lev 18:27-28 For the men who were in the land before you…

and they have filled My inheritance with their abominations.”

Idolatrous practices had spread throughout the land of Israel, God’s divine inheritance to His people, corrupting what He had set apart. Judgment would remove this defilement and demonstrate that the Lord would not permit His inheritance to remain under the rule of rebellion.

Jer 2:7 I brought you into a fertile land to eat its fruit…
Ezk 5:11 Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD,…
Jer 7:30-31 For the people of Judah have done evil in My sight,…

O LORD, my strength and my fortress,

Jeremiah identifies the LORD as the source of his strength and secure defense amid Judah’s rebellion, opposition to his ministry, and the approaching Babylonian judgment. Human defenses would fail, but God remained faithful and sovereign.

Psa 18:2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.…
Psa 144:2 He is my steadfast love and my fortress, my stronghold…
Psa 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts…

my refuge in the day of distress,

The coming invasion and exile would bring severe suffering upon Judah. Jeremiah looked to God as the only safe refuge when political alliances, military power, and false worship could not preserve the nation.

Psa 59:16 But I will sing of Your strength, and proclaim…
Nam 1:7 The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of distress;…
Psa 37:39 The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD;…

the nations will come to You from the ends of the earth,

Beyond Judah’s judgment, the prophet foresees people from every nation turning to the God of Israel. The LORD’s rule and salvation would not remain confined to one land or people.

Zec 8:20-23 This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Peoples will yet come—…
Psa 22:27 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD…
Isa 49:6 “It is not enough for You to be My Servant,”…

and they will say, “Our fathers inherited nothing but lies,

The nations will recognize that the religions and practices handed down through their ancestors led them away from truth. Their confession acknowledges the failure of inherited idolatry.

Isa 28:15 “We have made a covenant with death; we have…”…
Isa 44:20 He feeds on ashes. His deluded heart has led him astray…

worthless idols of no benefit at all.

Idols could neither create, save, nor protect. In contrast to the living God, they offered no help in distress and no hope for those who trusted in them.

1Sa 12:21 Do not turn aside after worthless things…
Hab 2:18 What use is an idol, that a craftsman should carve it…
Jer 10:14 Every man is senseless and devoid of knowledge;…

Isa 44:10 Who fashions a god or casts an idol which profits him…
Isa 44:17 From the rest he makes a god, his graven image.…
Hab 2:18 What use is an idol, that a craftsman should carve it…

Exo 14:31 When Israel saw the great power that the LORD had exercised…
Deu 4:34 Or has any god tried to take as his own a nation……

then they will know that My name is the LORD.

Ezk 36:23 I will show the holiness of My great name,…
Isa 42:8 I am the LORD; that is My name! I will not yield My glory…
Psa 83:18 May they know that You alone, whose name is the LORD,…
