Parallel Chapters Children of God | 1See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. | 1See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. | 1See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. | 8The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning.
