1 Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Brothers <i>and sisters,</i> even if a person is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual are to restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness; <i>each one</i> looking to yourself, so that you are not tempted as well. Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
2 Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
3 If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. For if anyone thinks that he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves.
4 Each one should test his own work. Then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in someone else. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have <i>reason for</i> boasting, <i>but</i> to himself alone, and not to another. Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,
5 For each one should carry his own load. For each will have to bear his own load. For every man shall bear his own burden. For each one will bear his own load. for each one should carry their own load.
6 Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor. Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches <i>him.</i> Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.
7 Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a person sows, this he will also reap. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
8 The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. For the one who sows to his own flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
9 Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all <i>men</i>, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
11 See what large letters I am using to write to you with my own hand! See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. See with what large letters I have written to you with my own hand! See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!
12 Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. They only do this to avoid persecution for the cross of Christ. It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh who would force you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. All who want to make a good showing in the flesh try to compel you to be circumcised, simply so that they will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
13 For the circumcised do not even keep the law themselves, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they want to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh. Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.
14 But as for me, may I never boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation. For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.
16 Peace and mercy to all who walk by this rule, even to the Israel of God. And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace <i>be</i> on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. And all who will follow this rule, peace and mercy <i>be</i> upon them, and upon the Israel of God. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God.
17 From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
