“Truly,
truly,
I tell
you,
whoever
does not enter
the
sheepfold
by
the
gate,
but
climbs in
some other way,
is
a thief
and
a robber.

But
the [one who]
enters

3
The
gatekeeper
opens [the gate]
for him,
and
the
sheep
listen for
his

He calls
[his]

sheep
by
name
and
leads them out.
3
τούτῳ

When
he has brought out

he goes on

them,
and

him
because
they know

Ὅταν

again,

19
Again
there was
division
among
the
Jews
because of
[Jesus’]
message.
19
Σχίσμα
πάλιν
ἐγένετο
ἐν
τοῖς
Ἰουδαίοις
διὰ
τοὺς
λόγους
τούτους
20
Many
of
them
said,
“He is
demon-possessed
and

Why
would you listen to
Him?”
20
ἔλεγον

21
[But] others
replied,
“These

Can

22
At that time
the
Feast of Dedication
took place
in
Jerusalem.
It was
winter,
22
Ἐγένετο
τότε
τὰ

Jesus

24
So
the
Jews
gathered around
Him
and
demanded,
“How long
will You keep us in suspense?
If
You
are
the
Christ,
tell
us
plainly.”
24
ἐκύκλωσαν
οὖν
αὐτὸν
οἱ
Ἰουδαῖοι
καὶ
ἔλεγον
αὐτῷ

Jesus
replied,

At this,
the
Jews
again
picked up

31
Ἐβάστασαν

οἱ
Ἰουδαῖοι

32
[But] Jesus
responded,
“I have shown

For

“We are not stoning

said
the
Jews,
“but

because
You,
who are

33
Ἀπεκρίθησαν

Jesus
replied,
“Is it

34
Ἀπεκρίθη

36
[ then what about the One ] whom
the
Father
sanctified
and
sent
into
the
world?
How then
{can} you
accuse [Me]
of blasphemy
for
stating that
I am
[the] Son
of God?
36
ὃν
ὁ
Πατὴρ

At this,

[Jesus] went

He stayed
there.
