4	Again, he sent other servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.	Again he sent other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.”’	Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and <i>my</i> fatlings <i>are</i> killed, and all things <i>are</i> ready: come unto the marriage. 5	But they paid no attention and went away, one to his field, another to his business. 9	Go therefore to the crossroads and invite to the banquet as many as you can find.	Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’	Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.	So go to the main roads, and invite whomever you find <i>there</i> to the wedding feast.’	So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’
10	So the servants went out into the streets and gathered everyone they could find, both evil and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.	And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.	So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And he was speechless.	and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless.	He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless.
13	Then the king told the servants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.	Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’	Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast <i>him</i> into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.	Then the king said to the servants, ‘Tie his hands and feet, and throw him into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth in that place.’	“Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

15	Then the Pharisees went out and conspired to trap Jesus in His words.	Then the Pharisees went and plotted how to entangle him in his words. You seek favor from no one, because You pay no attention to external appearance.	And they sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that you are true and teach the way of God truthfully, and you do not care about anyone’s opinion, for you are not swayed by appearances.	And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any <i>man</i>: for thou regardest not the person of men.	And they sent their disciples to Him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God in truth, and do not care what anyone thinks; for You are not partial to anyone.	They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are.
17	So tell us what You think: Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?	Tell us, then, what you think. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”	Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?	Tell us then, what do You think? Is it permissible to pay a poll-tax to Caesar, or not?”	Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not?”
18	But Jesus knew their evil intent and said, “You hypocrites, why are you testing Me?	But Jesus, aware of their malice, said, “Why put me to the test, you hypocrites?	But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, <i>ye</i> hypocrites?	But Jesus perceived their malice, and said, “Why are you testing Me, you hypocrites?	But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me?

21	“Caesar’s, they answered. So Jesus told them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.	They said, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”	They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.	They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” Then He said to them, “Then pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s.”	“Caesar’s,” they replied. Then he said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
22	And when they heard this, they were amazed. So they left Him and went away.	When they heard it, they marveled. And they left him and went away.	When they had heard <i>these words</i>, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.	And hearing <i>this,</i> they were amazed; and they left Him and went away. 23	That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus and questioned Him. 25	Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died without having children. So he left his wife to his brother.	Now there were seven brothers among us. The first married and died, and having no offspring left his wife to his brother.	Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:	Now there were seven brothers among us; and the first married and died, and having no children, he left his wife to his brother. 26	The same thing happened to the second and third brothers, down to the seventh.	So too the second and third, down to the seventh. The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh.
27	And last of all, the woman died.	After them all, the woman died.	And last of all the woman died also.	Last of all, the woman died.	Finally, the woman died.
28	In the resurrection, then, whose wife will she be of the seven? For all of them were married to her.	In the resurrection, therefore, of the seven, whose wife will she be? For they all had her.”	Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.	In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had her <i>in marriage.</i>”	Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?”
29	Jesus answered, “You are mistaken because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.	But Jesus answered them, “You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God.	Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.	But Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, since you do not understand the Scriptures nor the power of God.	Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.
30	In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven.	For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.	For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.	For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.	At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
31	But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you:	And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God:	But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,	But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God:	But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you,
32	‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’ He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.	‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead, but of the living.”	I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.	‘I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB’? 45	So if David calls Him ‘Lord,’ how can He be David’s son?	If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”	If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?	Therefore, if David calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his son?”	If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?”
46	No one was able to answer a word, and from that day on no one dared to question Him any further.
