3	Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing, He said. “Be clean! And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus put forth <i>his</i> hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.	Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.	Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.
4	Then Jesus instructed him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”	And Jesus said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a proof to them.”	And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.	And Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”	Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

8	The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.	But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.	The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”	For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this <i>man</i>, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth <i>it</i>.	For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does <i>it.</i>”	For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. 10	When Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. 11	I say to you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.	I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven,	And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.	And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline <i>at the table</i> with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;	I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
12	But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.	while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. 13	Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you. And his servant was healed at that very hour.	And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.	And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, <i>so</i> be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.	And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that <i>very</i> moment.	Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.
14	When Jesus arrived at Peter’s house, He saw Peter’s mother-in-law sick in bed with a fever.	And when Jesus entered Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. 17	This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took on our infirmities and carried our diseases.”	This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”	That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare <i>our</i> sicknesses.	<i>This happened</i> so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled: “HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR ILLNESSES AND CARRIED AWAY OUR DISEASES.”	This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.”
18	When Jesus saw a large crowd around Him, He gave orders to cross to the other side of the sea.	Now when Jesus saw a crowd around him, he gave orders to go over to the other side.	Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.	Now when Jesus saw a crowd around Him, He gave orders to depart to the other side <i>of the sea.</i>	When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake.
19	And one of the scribes came to Him and said, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.	And a scribe came up and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”	And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.	Then a scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”	Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”
20	Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.	And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”	And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air <i>have</i> nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay <i>his</i> head.	And Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky <i>have</i> nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”	Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
21	Another of His disciples requested, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.	Another of the disciples said to him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”	And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.	And another of the disciples said to Him, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”	Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22	But Jesus told him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.	And Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”	But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.	But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”	But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
23	When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.	And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him.	And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.	When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.	Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him.
24	Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves; but Jesus was sleeping.	And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep.	And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.	And behold, a violent storm developed on the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves; but <i>Jesus</i> Himself was asleep.	Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.
25	The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!	And they went and woke him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing.”	And his disciples came to <i>him</i>, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.	And they came to <i>Him</i> and woke Him, saying, “Save <i>us,</i> Lord; we are perishing!”	The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
26	“You of little faith, Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid? Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.	And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.	And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.	He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.	He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
27	The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!	And the men marveled, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?”	But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!	The men were amazed, and said, “What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”	The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”
28	When Jesus arrived on the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, He was met by two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.	And when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men met him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way.	And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.	And when He came to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men confronted Him as they were coming out of the tombs. <i>They were</i> so extremely violent that no one could pass by that way.	When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
29	“What do You want with us, Son of God? they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?	And behold, they cried out, “What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”	And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?	And they cried out, saying, “What business do You have with us, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”	“What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
30	In the distance a large herd of pigs was feeding.	Now a herd of many pigs was feeding at some distance from them.	And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.	Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding at a distance from them.	Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding.
31	So the demons begged Jesus, “If You drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.	And the demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of pigs.”	So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.	And the demons begged Him, saying, “If You <i>are going to</i> cast us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”	The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32	“Go! He told them. So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters.	And he said to them, “Go.” So they came out and went into the pigs, and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters.	And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.	And He said to them, “Go!” And they came out and went into the pigs; and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters.	He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water.
33	Those tending the pigs ran off into the town and reported all this, including the account of the demon-possessed men.	The herdsmen fled, and going into the city they told everything, especially what had happened to the demon-possessed men.	And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.	And the herdsmen ran away, and went to the city and reported everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.	Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.
34	Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.	And behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.	And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought <i>him</i> that he would depart out of their coasts.	And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw Him, they pleaded with Him to leave their region.	Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.
