The Parable of the Ten Virgins

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.1“Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.1"Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.1"Then the kingdom of heaven will be like 10 virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.
Five of them were foolish and five were wise.2Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.2"Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent.2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.2Five of them were foolish and five were sensible.
The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.3For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,3"For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:3When the foolish took their lamps, they didn't take olive oil with them.
The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.4but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.4but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps.4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.4But the sensible ones took oil in their flasks with their lamps.

The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.5As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept.5"Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep.5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.5Since the groom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
"At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'6But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’6"But at midnight there was a shout, 'Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.'6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.6"In the middle of the night there was a shout: Here's the groom! Come out to meet him.'
"Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.7Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps.7"Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps.7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.7"Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps.
The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'8And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’8"The foolish said to the prudent, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.8But the foolish ones said to the sensible ones, 'Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.'
"'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'9But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’9"But the prudent answered, 'No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.'9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.9"The sensible ones answered, No, there won't be enough for us and for you. Go instead to those who sell, and buy oil for yourselves.'
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
"But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.10And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.10"And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.10"When they had gone to buy some, the groom arrived. Then those who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut.
"Later the others also came. 'Lord, Lord,' they said, 'open the door for us!'11Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’11"Later the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord, lord, open up for us.'11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.11"Later the rest of the virgins also came and said, Master, master, open up for us!'
"But he replied, 'Truly I tell you, I don't know you.'12But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’12"But he answered, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you.'12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.12"But he replied, I assure you: I do not know you!'
"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.13Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.13"Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.13"Therefore be alert, because you don't know either the day or the hour.

The Parable of the Talents

(Luke 19:11-27)

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
"Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them.14“For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property.14"For it is just like a man about to go on a journey, who called his own slaves and entrusted his possessions to them.14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.14"For it is just like a man going on a journey. He called his own slaves and turned over his possessions to them.
To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.15To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away.15"To one he gave five talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability; and he went on his journey.15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.15To one he gave five talents; to another, two; and to another, one--to each according to his own ability. Then he went on a journey. Immediately
The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more.16He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more.16"Immediately the one who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and gained five more talents.16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.16the man who had received five talents went, put them to work, and earned five more.
So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.17So also he who had the two talents made two talents more.17"In the same manner the one who had received the two talents gained two more.17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.17In the same way the man with two earned two more.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.18But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money.18"But he who received the one talent went away, and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.18But the man who had received one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master's money.
"After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.19Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them.19"Now after a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them.19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.19"After a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them.
The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.'20And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here, I have made five talents more.’20"The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, 'Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have gained five more talents.'20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.20The man who had received five talents approached, presented five more talents, and said, Master, you gave me five talents. Look, I've earned five more talents.'
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'21His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’21"His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.'21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.21"His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave! You were faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master's joy!'
"The man with two bags of gold also came. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.'22And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here, I have made two talents more.’22"Also the one who had received the two talents came up and said, 'Master, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have gained two more talents.'22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.22"Then the man with two talents also approached. He said, Master, you gave me two talents. Look, I've earned two more talents.'
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'23His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’23"His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.'23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.23"His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave! You were faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master's joy!'
"Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. 'Master,' he said, 'I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.24He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed,24"And the one also who had received the one talent came up and said, 'Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you scattered no seed.24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:24"Then the man who had received one talent also approached and said, Master, I know you. You're a difficult man, reaping where you haven't sown and gathering where you haven't scattered seed.
So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.'25so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’25'And I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.'25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.25So I was afraid and went off and hid your talent in the ground. Look, you have what is yours.'
"His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?26But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed?26"But his master answered and said to him, 'You wicked, lazy slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I scattered no seed.26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:26"But his master replied to him, You evil, lazy slave! If you knew that I reap where I haven't sown and gather where I haven't scattered,
Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.27Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest.27Then you ought to have put my money in the bank, and on my arrival I would have received my money back with interest.27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.27then you should have deposited my money with the bankers. And when I returned I would have received my money back with interest.

"'So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.28So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents.28'Therefore take away the talent from him, and give it to the one who has the ten talents.'28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.28"So take the talent from him and give it to the one who has 10 talents.
For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.29For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.29"For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.29For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have more than enough. But from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'30And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’30"Throw out the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.30And throw this good-for-nothing slave into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.31“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.31"But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:31"When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.32Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.32"All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:32All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.33And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.33and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.33He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on the left.
"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.34Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.34"Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:34Then the King will say to those on His right, Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,42For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,42for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink;42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:42For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink;
